Millersoft wins European Pentaho Award

27th September 2010, London, UK and Lisbon, Portugal – Pentaho Corporation, the open source business intelligence (BI) and data integration leader, today announced the winners of the 2010 EMEA Pentaho Partner Awards. The Pentaho Partner Awards recognise organisations that have worked closely with Pentaho throughout the year to deliver outstanding customer success, commercial results or innovation.

Millersoft Ltd won the award for Best Market Development in EMEA – Millersoft in the UK was recognised for being the fastest to sell, market and grow after joining the Pentaho partner program.

Millersoft Director, Calum Miller, was in Lisbon to collect the award from the Pentaho VP for Worldwide Sales, Richard Baldwin and the EMEA VP Vinay Joosery. On receiving the award, Calum Miller said:

“Within the space of 6 months, Millersoft has become a key Pentaho partner, selling and supporting Open Source solutions across different industry sectors including; logistics, telecoms and retail.

Millersoft has been pushing the boundaries of Business Intelligence solutions, working closely with companies like Skype, Air Menzies International and Regenersis.

We deliver complete Business Intelligence solutions or train and mentor existing staff to support their own systems. We have particular experience working with ERP systems like Lawson/Movex, Ofbiz and Oracle EBS. However, we also help companies build BI systems from scratch using any source of data.

Millersoft supports the full Pentaho stack, with long experience delivering integrated dashboards, reports and add-hoc OLAP analysis. We also have extensive database experience and can advise clients on the best choice of database to meet the number crunching needs of high volume analytics. Currently, our company is exploring Hadoop integration within the Pentaho suite.

Millersoft keeps overheads down by employing a small core team in Musselburgh, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, but can handle any contract size through our network of Pentaho associates.”
